while teaching rollover she suddenly stopped rolling all the way and just kind of flopped down on her side with her head on the floor. I named this “flop” and she loves this behavior for some reason. Once I realized that I knew it was a great way to practise handling and began using flop as a precursor to working on handling. With her in a flop touching her all over was easy, I even started holding and picking up the nail clippers while touching and picking up her paws. haven’t actually cut a nail yet, though!
