Thinking outside dog.
I woke up last night after dreaming I’d made a monstrous mess in the cabin, water was pouring out from my groin and covering everything in mud, I was thinking “Shit, how can I clean this up ?” when my mom walked in with a bemused look on her face that quickly sank to anger.
I layed in the van trying to go back to sleep. We’ve been parking at the rest-stop, so I listened to the sounds of other people slamming their doors, talking, to the snow and rain tapping on the roof. Finally after two hours I got up and went inside to pee. Sleep came easy then. But what do you do when it rains if you live in a van and have no money?
We keep running out of things to do. We went on a 2.5 mile walk around Pete’s Hill this morning where scherzo got to run offleash and meet a couple dogs and a puppy. The Burke Park trail is 1 mi long, 2 miles round trip. The park is located near the eastern edge of bozeman just past the library. Watch out for a traffic jam of offleash dogs during peak hours, most of them ill-mannered. During bad weather though, you’ll have it almost to yourself. Schezo gives the hike 3/10 babies.
It was snowing and the bottoms of our boots slowly accumulated inches of mud, the clouds cleared off the mountains around noon, they were so white looming over the city, making it seem small, some joke. We went to the library for 2 hours, we napped in the car while it hailed, we went to the park and skateboarded under the awning hockey rink thing while it snowed, we played on the playground and threw a stick or two in the river/stream, we walked around downtown and bought an envelope. Scherzo did great with her loose leash, but she was so tired she hi-hoed when mac said up and kind of slinked over backward into a lightpost. We rested again and I worked on a letter. We went back to the park to pee and skateboarded and attacked eachother. Now it is 7pm and we are cold and out of ideas. My ipod is dead and my phone is dead. If only it was sunny we could sit outside like yesterday. what is with the snow in May?

well you could write letters to me, mine old rusty bones need the pleasure of wrinkling to the mailbox now and again.
I think you should also draw and– perchance to dream lividly– meditate and then play in the mud. I played in the mud but all i got was a bloody foot from cut glass. but it was ok later. Go to shows– arent there any good ones in bozeman? I dont know. At least youre not addicted to the glowing screens. My 12 point plant to blow up the glowing screens is a slow process. BUT, tis working. In my wills. I’ll leave you my books.
